Educational Programs
for the preservation of marine environment

Salle du fare Education - The Fare Education's roomThe preservation of the marine environment and of the creatures that live in it requires that people become aware of the dangers that threaten the natural environment and the extinction risks that weight down on living species.

Considering this, the te mana o te moana association plays an important role in educating the public, local populations, and especially the children, considering the key role they play in the protection of our planet in their day to day life and future.

In cooperation with the hotel InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa and the Moorea Dolphin Center, the association provides educational programs to schools and groups that allows them to better understand cetaceans, marine turtles, their natural habitat and the local dangers that threaten these natural resources.

All our educational programs have received a specific agreement from the Ministry of Education – Department of Primary School:

Rapport Education 2015-2016 bd (only in French)

agréments programmes éducatifs – Educational programs agreements 2015-2016

From the dolphin area to the turtles clinic, kids can learn, meet and touch with wonder dolphins and turtles… Truly an unforgettable moment and surely the best way for them to feel the need to protect these animals, learn more about them, and nurture their desire to change their behaviour.
