Abstract: The loggerhead turtle is the most widespread species in the Mediterranean Sea, like all species of sea turtles, it is protected internationally. To participate in its protection, Jean-Baptiste SENEGAS and his colleagues created the CESTMED , a medical center in the Mediterranean sea but also a scientific and educational tool. 2018 will be a year of innovation for CESTMED. Search for nests using sniffer dogs, follow turtles using transmitters and use marine turtles as bio-indicator will be presented as future projects after a review of the actions of the center (www.cestmed.org).
