Charlotte is a student at the University of French Polynesia. She’s doing a second degree master in marine biology called ” Insular Ecosystems of Oceanic”. In the context of her 6 months of internship, she’s managed by the CRIOBE (Insular Research Center and Observatory of the Environment) and the te mana o te moana’s foundation.
Passionated by cetaceans, she joined our team in the context of the Observatory of marine mammals in French Polynesia. She is working on different technics of collecting datas regarding the dolphins of French Polynesia, although actively studying the population of Spinner dolphins in French Polynesia. Her goal is also to increase the conservation of the Marine Mammals of French Polynesia through a better knowledge of the law and rules set up by the Ministry of the Environment since 2002.
