On Saturday April 21st, we welcomed at the Care center a green sea turtle of about two years old, found dying in the lagoon of Moorea with a spear arrow that pierced her head. It was brought to Te mana o te moana by a resident of Tahiti who found the turtle floating and without energy. At this point, we are not certain of its healing… We want to thank Sarah and Team Bosco who rescued it and named it Okely.
The planet needs everyone’s help. We must take strong actions now to contribute to its safeguard.
Authorized by the Direction of the Environment of French Polynesia.
