Since the month of October, a new cleanup campaign was launched in Moorea. Several pickups are organized monthly with another foundation Les Bourdons de Moorea.
The objective is not only to pick-up waste that would otherwise end up at sea but also to educate the general public on adopting eco-friendly habits.
Waste most commonly found are plastic bottles, food packaging, cans, plastic containers and masks.
Up up now 3 cubic meters were picked-up and cleanups will continue…
