In recent weeks, we have set up a feeding system for turtles in care, when their condition allows it.In order to avoid contact with our caretakers during feeding, we have installed submerged systems with food in holes created for this purpose. Residents can thus freely grasp fish and squid without human contact.
The tubes can be placed at the bottom of the water or suspended depending on the problems encountered by the residents (floating or capable of diving turtles). The objective is to limit as much as possible interaction with caretakers in the perspective of a return to the wild life.
We will keep you informed of the progress made thanks to the implementation of this system.
