During this month of June, a hawskbill turtle wounded at the top of the head by spire gun was found on Tahiti, at Arue. This turtle measuring 44 centimeters for 6,8 kg is just aged by 10 years old. It’s thanks to the Tumu Hiva association for children that she has been rescued and bring back to Moorea thanks to our volunteers too. Fortunately, the wound of Tumu Hiva Hina is superficial and she will be able to join the ocean soon.
