On Friday 7th of November, Te mana o te moana organized, in parternship with the municipality of Moorea Maiao a huge “open doors” day to celebrate the ocean and the necessity to preserve our marine life for our next generations. Many stands were organized.
From 9.00 am to 3.00 pm, our The PGEM foundation, the CRIOBE research center, the Polynesienne des eaux company, the police officer in charge of the PGEM Moorea, the Bibliobus and te mana o te moana has proposed various activities for ther conservation of the oceans such as underwater trail, the visit of the sea turtle clinic, the rules of the PGEM, the necessity to preserve the water…
This event is supported by the municipality of Moorea Maiao and the InterContinental Moorea Resort and Spa which offered a special snake for the all public. A day that gathered more than 300 people (250 children and 50 adults ).
