The 10th meeting of ARGONAUTICA was organised by the CNES at the Aquarium de La Rochelle (France), on the 24th and 25th of May, 2012.
The program of this conference included a speech by Cecile Gaspar, te mana o te moana’s President, in visio-conference (Skype) from Moorea.
Cecile talked about the release of a sea turtle named Costa Luna who had been cared after at the Sea Turtles Clinic in Moorea.
Argonautica is an educational program delivered by the CNES (French national center for spatial surveys) using spacial geolocalisation data (ARGOS) and oceanographic data (JASON), as well as environmental or/and biological informations provided by researchers, in order to raise awareness amongst young people about major environmental issues.
