Every year, te mana o te moana’s participates to various events in favor of the world ocean conservation. To celebrate the 2014 Water and Climate changes week, Charlotte and Allyson, our 2 interns, have been to the La Mennais College (12-17 years old) on Tahiti.
They welcomed more than 1 000 students of 14-16 years old school level during the all day for more than one hour exmplaining them the Climate changes, the consequences on the marine fauna and flora and especially on sea turtles… They also reminded to the students the necessity of protecting the water ressources of the world in giving some good hands such as turn of the water when brushing teeth, reuse the rainwater for watering the garden ….
