Today, 120kg of waste of all kinds were removed around the Fare Vaa’a in Faa’a.
A special feature today is that we mainly removed small plastic waste. These microplastics can present a risk to marine life.
Why organizing clean-up actions? Garbage in the wild pollutes the soil and can be a great danger to wildlife :
Plastic in the digestive system, injuries, entanglement, disruption of the living environment…
All those can be avoided by changing our habits!
Together, let’s take care of our Fenua and its biodiversity 🏝
