For this 22nd edition of the Science Festival in French Polynesia, Te mana o te moana was solicited to organize the event on the territory, under the patronage of the French Ministry of Education and Research and the Government of French Polynesia.
This edition encountered a huge success towards the teenagers and the local public. After 10 days of events, more than 2 800 personns including school children, teenagers, adults… participated to the Science days Festival.
Various activities were proposed to the local public on Tahiti – Mororea – Raiatea and Rangiroa.
The famous freediver, world champion (under 123 meters) Guillaume Nery and Julie Gautier France diver champion under 68 meters were invited for delivering many conferences oriented on his passion : the apnea …. at least more than 30 conferences (adults and schools) were organized!
Specific conferences were also provided by scientific research centers as the CRIOBE, the IRD, the AMP Agency… special show on water were also organized for the schools, specific debates on water were also provided to the locals.
A huge event permitting to reach more than 2 800 personns.
