A Conference on “Biodiversity and Development, a crucial stake for our overseas territories”, organised by FNE (France Nature Environnement), took place in Paris, on December 5 and 6, 2012.
Throughout this meeting, FNE’s intention was to bring participants to consider what is at stake when reconciling development with protection and valorisation of biodiversity in overseas territories.

Amongst the speakers was Cécile Gaspar, te mana o te moana’s President. She presented te mana o te moana’s actions for the conservation of marine biodiversity in Moorea, a French overseas territory.
