We welcomed 7 youngsters from Faa’a Association Hotuarea Nui, who were able to:

• Acquire knowledge about marine flora and fauna.
• Discover different professions linked to environmental protection.
• Put themselves in the shoes of our team members for a day to acquire professional skills.

Mauruuru to the young people of Hotuarea nui for your enthusiasm! At the end, 𝟏𝟔 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 will benefit from a day of immersion, a day to develop a personal project and a day to discover environmental projects conducted in Tahiti.

𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘧𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺: Fonds de Développement de la Vie Associative (FDVA) and EDT ENGIE.

We welcomed 𝟒𝟖 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 from Tefana soccer association over 2 mornings, during which the athletes were able to give their brains a workout! 

On the program:

• Presentation and transmission of knowledge about sea turtles of French Polynesia

• Raising awareness on plastic pollution

• Educational activities

• Visit of the rehabilitation center

• Visit of the lagoonarium and identification of fish species observed

Through educational programs and immersion days within our association, this project will enable the 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗮’𝗮 to develop knowledge about:

• The environment
• Marine biodiversity
• Professions linked to environmental protection

To achieve this, we are calling on Faa’a’s youth, sports, cultural and environmental associations in order to welcome children 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟰 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟱 as part of the project.

Youngsters 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟲 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟱 will be welcomed for 3 days of immersion to acquire knowledge and reflect on a professional project linked to the environment.
