Their health has greatly improved and they are now beginning the last rehabilitation phase before heading out to sea.

A final step towards the wilderness which should take place in the coming months, to the delight of our caretakers and volunteers.

They were born on π‘»π’†π’•π’Šπ’‚π’“π’π’‚ 𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒍 and collected between January and February 2023.

These juveniles were stuck in their nest due to roots and corals and had difficulties, preventing their immediate release, such as:

  • Locomotor problems
  • Friction injuries
  • Vitellus not resorbed

In addition, 2 larger juveniles were isolated in a separate nursery to avoid conflict with other juveniles.

Now in perfect health, they are adapting to their new nursery before being released!
