We are delighted to announce the signing of a new partnership with Air Tahiti !

The company, which has been a long-standing supporter, is stepping up its support by donating plane tickets for team travel during its sea turtle conservation missions on Polynesian islands.

This major support will enable us to expand our conservation missions and meet the people who play a key role in protecting the environment on the islands.

Today, we want to highlight our partner Hello’Scoot! Hello’Scoot offers rental of 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.

Equipped with 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘀, the company shares environmental values such as:

– 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆: the scooters are recharged with solar energy in order to have a service that is 100% respectful of our islands

– 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: vehicles used by different customers on the same day

– 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: the prices are affordable and include charging and all-risk insurance at no additional cost

– 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱: the use of technology while being environmentally friendly

Since the transfer of the association to Tahiti, the resident employees of Moorea uses Hello’Scoot 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 on a daily basis to go to the new premises located within the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort hotel in Faa’a.

New partnership with the Maud Fontenoy Foundation

We are delighted to announce a new partnership between Te mana o te moana and the Maud Fontenoy Foundation!This partnership aims to create and distribute an educational awareness kit in schools, for the safeguard and preservation of the oceans.

During her visit in Tahiti last week, Maud Fontenoy and Cécile Gaspar were able to announce this collaboration which aims to offer primary school students, from the start of the 2023 school year, an educational booklet on the land-sea link. Polynesia and its natural riches will be highlighted in this booklet, which is planned to be distributed to 55,000 primary schools.
Maud Fontenoy, a renowned navigator for her exploits such as solo rowing crossings in the Atlantic and the Pacific, is an ambassador for the Ministry of National Education and Youth and has been working for the protection of the planet and the oceans since over 20 years. A previous educational kit on water was produced in partnership with her Foundation a few years ago.

For over 5 years, Te mana o te moana has been supported by the Vilebrequin brand. A collaboration which has allowed our foundation to pursue its actions for the protection of the environment and more specifically sea turtles.

With the creation of a swimsuit bearing the effigy of our foundation, Vilebrequin has joined forces with us to save sea turtles, the emblem of the brand created in 1971.

Since 2019, Vilebrequin has also been selling 100% recycled polyester swimsuits! A strong commitment to safeguard the environment.
