500kg of waste collected in 2 hours !

From the Intercontinental to the Motu Tahua Ovini parking lot. In total, we collected:

  • 1 bag of glass (250 L)
  • 15 batteries
  • 6 bags of recyclable waste (1500L)
  • 8 bags of non-recyclable waste (2000L)

That’s 440 kg of waste removed from nature, which could potentially have ended up in our lagoons, causing the degradation of our precious marine environment.

We’d like to thank all the participants and their motivation, as well as the Ville de Faa’a for their logistical support and involvement and Syndicat FENUA MA for the donations of bags and vests

Many other collections will be organized, so stay tuned to make sure you don’t miss out on any action to protect our fenua!

THE ROUTE : Intercontinental Faa’a – Motu Tahua Ovini parking lot

MEETING POINT : At the bottom of the Intercontinental Faa’a parking lot, next to the Hello Scoot’ station, at 10 a.m.

What to think about? Gloves if you have, sun protection and water, your smile and motivation + let us know if you’re joining.

Come along and help us clean our beautiful island from garbage, much of which will end up in the ocean if not collected.
