Thank you to our volunteers https://www.temanaotemoana.org/en/thank-you-to-our-volunteers/ Thu, 02 Jun 2022 01:15:59 +0000 https://www.temanaotemoana.org/?p=22361 A foundation also includes volunteers who help us and support our actions.

We have been fortunate for nearly 18 years to be surrounded by great people who provide support whenever they can, whether in person or remotely.

Today, we would like to thank Greg Ori, sculptor who donates to us the profits from the sale of his turtle-shaped sculptures from the metropolis.

MAURUURU ROA to Greg !

Thank you to Frederic and Didier, our amazing volunteers! https://www.temanaotemoana.org/en/thank-you-to-frederic-and-didier-our-amazing-volunteers/ Tue, 11 Feb 2020 21:26:38 +0000 https://www.temanaotemoana.org/?p=18428 Te mana o te moana, it’s also many volunteers who work alongside us to carry the association’s message.

Today, we wish to highlight Frederic Lavail and his association Viracocha, who are voluntarily producing a documentary on our actions with an educational objective.

In 2019 and recently, for the past few weeks, Frederic has followed our teams in Moorea at the Sea turtle care center, during our educational programs here and in schools and during our cleaup days. He also filmed our teams on Tetiaroa who are carrying out scientific studies on green sea turtle nesting sites and on coconut crabs. His images on land, in the air and under the sea during dives highlight our breathtaking nature and remind us of the urgency of protecting it.

We would like to warmly thank Frederic for his work, his generosity and his kindness. His personal investment in defending our cause is remarkable. A big thank you also to Didier Thomas who accompanied him and who contributed with his logistical support and his generosity to the success of this project.

THANK YOU FRÉDÉRIC AND DIDIER!

Thank you also toΒ Air Tahiti NuiΒ for its support
