\"Salle<\/a>The preservation of the marine environment and of the creatures that live in it requires that people become aware of the dangers<\/strong> that threaten the natural environment and the extinction risks<\/strong> that weight down on living species.<\/h5>\n

Considering this, the te mana o te moana<\/strong><\/em> association plays an important role in educating the public, local populations, and especially the children, considering the key role they play in the protection of our planet in their day to day life and future.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>In cooperation with the hotel InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa<\/a>\u00a0and the Moorea Dolphin Center<\/a>, the association provides educational programs<\/strong> to schools and groups that allows them to better understand cetaceans, marine turtles, their natural habitat and the local dangers that threaten these natural resources.<\/p>\n

All our educational programs have received a specific agreement from the Ministry of Education – Department of Primary School:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Honu R\u00e9cr\u00e9 is an educational program on marine turtles available for all primary schools of Polynesia. Its contents have been designed according to the national educational standards, and validated by the DEP (Department of Primary Schools) of French Polynesia.
