Convinced that education is a key driver for preserving ecosystems, the association has developed a <strong>dynamic and innovative educational division<\/strong>.\nThis division designs and implements <strong>educational programs<\/strong> tailored to <strong>school and extracurricular audiences<\/strong>, covering a wide range of topics such as sea turtles, <strong>coral reefs, marine mammals, and waste management<\/strong>. Using fun and interactive tools (board games, manuals, posters), it aims to spark curiosity in young people and actively engage them in protecting their environment.\nBy collaborating with schools, leisure centers, and local institutions, <em data-start=\"827\" data-end=\"847\">Te mana o te moana<\/em>&#8216;s educational division helps shape a new generation that is aware of environmental children<\/strong> have been made aware of environmental issues.\t\t\n\t\t\t Nearly <strong>40 educational projects<\/strong> have been developed around various themes such as sea turtles, coral reefs, marine mammals, waste management, and environmental conservation.\t\t\n\t\t\t <p>Over <strong>60 educational resources<\/strong> have been developed, such as board games, guides, posters, and a variety of pedagogical tools.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t <strong data-start=\"49\" data-end=\"138\">5 educational programs<\/strong> are currently offered to local schools and leisure centers.\t\t\n\t\t\t More than<strong data-start=\"57\" data-end=\"222\"> 480 events <\/strong>have been organized to raise awareness among both children and the general public about the protection of the Polynesian marine TAHITI<\/strong><\/h3>\n\tThe<strong data-start=\"54\" data-end=\"292\"> Atira&#8217;a ia Tahiti <\/strong>project aims to enable local associations and experts to share their knowledge, whether cultural, environmental, scientific, or social. <strong>20 training days<\/strong> were organized and led by the associations and experts.\n<strong data-start=\"294\" data-end=\"309\">OBJECTIVES:<\/strong>\n<ul data-start=\"313\" data-end=\"601\">\n<li data-start=\"313\" data-end=\"389\">\n<strong>Strengthen the skills<\/strong> of members and volunteers of Tahitian associations\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"390\" data-end=\"458\">\n<strong>Unite the island&#8217;s associative<\/strong> network through knowledge sharing\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"459\" data-end=\"601\">\n<strong>Raise<\/strong> awareness among the population of Tahiti about the importance of <strong>associative engagement<\/strong> and the <strong>missions<\/strong> carried out by associations\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThrough <strong>training days<\/strong> led by each association, open to members and volunteers of Tahitian organizations, the project offers a unique opportunity <strong>to share knowledge<\/strong> and <strong>develop skills<\/strong>.\nIn total,<strong> 257 people<\/strong> have been trained, with <strong>14 associations<\/strong> and <strong>4 experts<\/strong> participating in this exchange of expertise.\n\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" professions related to environmental protection through educational programs and immersion days within the association Te mana o te moana.\n<hr data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"460\" \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<strong data-start=\"52\" data-end=\"66\">OBJECTIVE:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"70\" data-end=\"304\"><strong>Welcoming<\/strong> children aged <strong>6<\/strong> to <strong>18<\/strong> from priority neighborhoods through educational and pedagogical workshops to better understand the connection between the neighborhoods, the lagoon, and marine biodiversity during a <strong data-start=\"284\" data-end=\"301\">ONE-DAY EVENT<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"306\" data-end=\"465\"><strong>AWARENESS CAMPAIGN<\/strong> and poster displays in high-traffic locations within the commune of Faa&#8217;a.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"306\" data-end=\"465\"><strong>COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN<\/strong> via media, press, and social networks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nIn total, <strong>5 organizations<\/strong> participated in the event, <strong>153 young people<\/strong> were educated, along with <strong>19 adults<\/strong>.\n\t<h3><strong>PROJECT : <\/strong><strong>ITO MOANA<\/strong><\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/IMG_0388-e1750283948692.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0388\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"828\" width=\"810\" title=\"IMG_0388\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading='lazy' \/>\n\t<p>Through<strong> IMMERSIONS<\/strong> and <strong>EXCHANGES<\/strong> with EDT ENGIE, knowledge of marine environmental protection was strengthened within both the company <strong>EDT ENGIE<\/strong> and the sports association <strong>EDT VA&#8217;A.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"380\" data-end=\"383\" \/>\n<strong>OBJECTIVE :\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"54\" data-end=\"426\"><strong data-start=\"54\" data-end=\"232\">WELCOME <\/strong>and<strong data-start=\"54\" data-end=\"232\"> IMMERSION <\/strong>of young members from EDT VA&#8217;A to introduce them to the daily life of the association and certain professions related to marine biodiversity protection.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"54\" data-end=\"426\"><strong>VISITS<\/strong> and <strong>EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES<\/strong> for the families of EDT ENGIE employees.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"54\" data-end=\"426\"><strong>IMMERSION<\/strong> of the Te mana o te moana teams within<strong> EDT VA&#8217;A<\/strong> for knowledge transfer on marine biodiversity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<strong>22 young people from EDT VA&#8217;A<\/strong> were able to discover our association through a one-day immersion.<br data-start=\"524\" data-end=\"527\" \/><strong>15 family members<\/strong> of EDT ENGIE employees visited our care center and learned about our missions.<br data-start=\"623\" data-end=\"626\" \/><strong>8 members of our team<\/strong>
