{"id":27675,"date":"2025-05-13T09:44:19","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T19:44:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/programme-impacs\/"},"modified":"2025-08-12T12:09:51","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T22:09:51","slug":"programme-impacs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/en\/programme-impacs\/","title":{"rendered":"Impacs Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1  data-animation-delay=\"0.0\" data-animation-duration=\"1\">\n\t\t\tIMPACS Project\t<\/h1>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/QUI-border.png\" alt=\"QUI-border\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"11\" width=\"444\" title=\"QUI-border\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading='lazy' \/>\n\t<h3 data-start=\"202\" data-end=\"309\"><strong>Knowledge and conservation of hawksbill turtles in the South Pacific<\/strong><\/h3>\n\tThe <strong data-start=\"87\" data-end=\"105\">IMPACS project<\/strong> (<em data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"196\">Initiative for the Knowledge and Conservation of Hawksbill Turtles in the South PACific<\/em>) aims to develop a <strong data-start=\"216\" data-end=\"261\">sustainable civic and scientific approach<\/strong> to the protection of sea turtles, particularly <strong data-start=\"309\" data-end=\"330\">hawksbill turtles<\/strong>, an <strong data-start=\"335\" data-end=\"372\">emblematic and endangered species<\/strong>.\nThis program is being implemented in <strong data-start=\"412\" data-end=\"459\">two French territories in the South Pacific<\/strong>: <strong data-start=\"461\" data-end=\"482\">Wallis and Futuna<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"507\">French Polynesia<\/strong>.\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/IMG_1819.png\" alt=\"IMG_1819\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"675\" width=\"1200\" title=\"IMG_1819\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading='lazy' \/>\n\t<h3 data-start=\"202\" data-end=\"309\"><strong>IMPACS project objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\tThe <strong data-start=\"137\" data-end=\"170\">main objective of the project<\/strong> is to strengthen <strong data-start=\"188\" data-end=\"228\">scientific and traditional knowledge<\/strong> about sea turtles in these two territories.
