This first intervention aims to <b>transmit the necessary knowledge<\/b> to the study of the thematic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the visit of one of the association educators, children work with their teacher (s) on the achievement of a digital <b>charter or poster<\/b>.The winning production will then be included in the educational trunk that the association is creating in parallel (composed of posters, a board game, and a teacher\u2019s guide) and then disseminated to the public concerned. As part of this project of education, research and conservation, various actions were set up with children, our future generations.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/DSC_0024.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9819\" alt=\"DSC_0024\" src=\"http:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/DSC_0024-275x213.jpg\" width=\"239\" height=\"186\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/DSC_0024-275x213.jpg 275w, https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/DSC_0024.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 239px) 100vw, 239px\" \/><\/a><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That\u2019s how this project <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bulahonu.org\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u00ab\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">BULA HONU<\/span>, <i>follow the sea turtles of the Pacific<\/i>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00bb<\/a> was born thanks to the support of all the Education Services, Ministries the Board of Education, research centers and partners of the Pacific. Differents school classes of Tahiti, Moorea, Tuamotu but also Tonga, Samoa and others countries of the South Pacific will exchange and follow the travel of six sea turtles satellite tagged. Goals are to aim at a better understanding of our <strong>PGEM of Moorea<\/strong> (Management Plan for the Marine Areas), the rules applied, and to give a better knowledge of the marine fauna and flora. This project is conducted with the 7 elementary schools of Moorea (children from 9 to 11 years old).<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/a-web-DSC05224.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9262 alignright\" alt=\"a web DSC05224\" src=\"http:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/a-web-DSC05224.jpg\" width=\"378\" height=\"212\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/a-web-DSC05224.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/a-web-DSC05224-600x337.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/a-web-DSC05224-379x213.jpg 379w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 378px) 100vw, 378px\" \/><\/a>During the <strong>2012-2013<\/strong> school year, this project was supported\u00a0 by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fondation-nicolas-hulot.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fondation Nicolas Hulot pour la Nature et l\u2019Homme<\/a> and in partnership with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dep.pf\/\" target=\"_blank\">Direction of Primary School<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mooreamaiao.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">City hall of Moorea Maiao. <\/a>Last year, <strong>7 classerooms<\/strong>, around <strong>300<\/strong> school chilren have participated to the project. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mooreamaiao.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For this <strong>2013-2014<\/strong> year, the project has been renewed thanks to the support of the <a href=\"www.http:\/\/temeum.espaces-naturels.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>TE ME UM Program<\/strong><\/a> (Terres et Mers Ultras-Marines) and <a href=\"www.palladiumpraha.cz \" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Isabella Ponta<\/strong><\/a>, one of our generous donor.Thanks to this partership, some novelties have been added : welcoming of the children at the foundation to visit the sea turtle Clinic and the dolphin area; delivering fro free of the &#8220;Tohora, humpback whale who are you?&#8221; booklet&#8230;.<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/en\/the-citizen-of-the-ocean-passport\/school-project-on-the-marine-areas-plan-of-moorea\/?preview=true&#038;preview_id=9327&#038;preview_nonce=0bfd0c89e7\" target=\"_blank\">&lt;&lt; Click here to learn everything about the project<\/a><\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Educational Project &#8220;<span style=\"color: #22c6dd;\"><em>Tohora<\/em><\/span>&#8220;,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> <em>Humpback whale, who are you?<\/em><\/strong><\/h1>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\">A new educational tool is distributed since the beginning of this 2012-2013 schoolyear in all Primary schools of French Polynesia. The educational <strong>booklet on Humpback whale<\/strong> was created to raise awareness about whale protection in Polynesia, in the continuity of the <a title=\"Cetaceans Observatory\" href=\"http:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.com\/observation-networks\/marine-mamals-observation-network\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cetacean Observatory<\/a>.<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/education\/projets-%c3%a9ducatifs-et-partenariats\/attachment\/0712livret-baleine-a-bosse_page_1-3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7639\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" title=\"Livret Tohora baleine \u00e0 bosse\/ Humpack whale booklet\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/0712LIVRET-BALEINE-A-BOSSE_Page_12-152x213.jpg\" width=\"152\" height=\"213\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Funded by <strong>Total Polynesia<\/strong>, the<strong> booklet on Humpback Whale<\/strong> will help to better understand cetaceans and better act for the conservation of emblematic species in Polynesian waters. Edited in <strong>12 0000 specimens<\/strong>, the booklet is dirtibuted to all children from 9 to 11 years old. Each child will receive a booklet. In total, more than <strong>11 000 children<\/strong> will get its own booklet! Its content is adapted to the <strong>educational standards<\/strong> from the Direction of Primary School.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the beginning of september, <strong>educators<\/strong> from the foundation will deliver <strong>specific programs<\/strong> into 12 classes of <strong>Tahiti and Moorea<\/strong>. Classerooms will be able to start their educational project and will become news observators of the Observatory networks. A contest is organized during the school year and the winners will be invited to celebrate the World Ocean Day on June 10th, 2013.<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/en\/the-citizen-of-the-ocean-passport\/educational-project-tohora-humpback-whale-who-are-you\/\" target=\"_blank\">&lt;&lt;&lt; Click here to learn about the all project<\/a><\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">A teaching<\/span> <span style=\"color: #003366;\">kit on water<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> with the <em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Maud Fontenoy<\/span> Fondation<\/em><\/strong><\/h1>\n<h5>The teaching kit on water for primary schools proposed by the Maud Fontenoy Foundation has been created in partnership with te mana o te moana, Unicef and the Canadian-based One Drop Foundation. These educational objectives are <strong>enriched with scientific data and with authentic testimonies collected from kids throughout the world<\/strong>. Since this project was launched in 2008, te mana o te moana has been an active partner for several consecutive years.<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Creator of the program and in charge of its coordination, <strong>Acroporis<\/strong> non-profit foundation is very involved in ocean-related issues and very active in raising children awareness. Acroporis collaborates with scientists and specialists, and is an associate member of the <a title=\"Partners\" href=\"http:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.com\/about-us\/partners\/\">World Ocean Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The classes involved in the project study all year long a theme related to ocean preservation. <strong>Local partners (NGOs or non-profit foundations) act as intermediaries between Acroporis and the classes<\/strong>. Sailing is the main activity. Every year, a different Polynesian island hosts the Saga, which lasts 1,5 month.<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.com\/education\/the-citizen-of-the-ocean-passport\/attachment\/saga-en-mer\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5777\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5777\" title=\"saga-en-mer\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/saga-en-mer.jpg\" width=\"222\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><strong>100 to 150 children<\/strong> come to stay every week. The children, cared after by various social organisms, come from Tahiti, Moorea, and the other archipelagos such as the Leeward Islands, the Australs or the Marquesas. Children have fun all day long sailing, swimming, hiking or attending awareness raising classes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2007, the Saga Penu settled on Maupiti. Named the \u201cManareva Operation\u201d, it was organized by te mana o te moana in collaboration with <a title=\"Partners\" href=\"http:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.com\/about-us\/partners\/\">UPJ (Polynesian Union for Youth)<\/a>.<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Its aim was to gather on a cloth pareo hundreds of <strong>signatures of young people from all over the world<\/strong>. The pareo would then travel <strong>high over the Earth during a space flight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the pareo, prepared jointly with the UPJ, a message had been added: <em>\u201cFrom Earth to Space, let\u2019s preserve our future\u201d<\/em>. The pareo was first presented at the <strong>UNESCO Youth Forum in Paris, in October 2007<\/strong>, where it was covered with signatures and messages for the Earth, written by dozens of young people from all countries.
