The winning projects will be honored on the 8th of June 2013, that is on World Ocean Day 2013<\/strong>. The winning class will spend one day in La Rochelle with Maud aboard the ship “Tahia”<\/em>, and win a 1000 euros cheque to fund an educational trip.<\/p>\n The teaching Kit is also the starting point for a national initiative: the creation of a “Youth Parliament”<\/strong>. Each class will chose one child to become an “Ambassador” of the Maud Fontenoy Foundation<\/strong>. All these representants will be invited to meet once a year in Paris<\/strong> on the 8th of June. They will work together towards proposals for a better preservation of the oceans.<\/strong> These proposals will be announced publicly and submitted to political leaders in the field of environment and economy.
