\"2015-10-08-PRINCE<\/a>Highness serene the Prince<\/span> Albert II of<\/span> Monaco<\/span> wished to<\/span> attend the signing<\/span> of this agreement<\/span> during his<\/span> short stop<\/span> in<\/span> French Polynesia<\/span> Thursday on October 8th, 2015<\/span>, during<\/span> its path between<\/span> Easter Island<\/span> and<\/span> Kiribati.<\/span> The <\/span>President<\/span> of the French Polynesia,<\/span> Edouard<\/span> Fritch welcomed him,<\/span> accompanied by the ministers<\/span> Teva<\/span> Rohfritsch<\/span>, Tearii<\/span> Alpha and<\/span> Heremoana<\/span> Maamaatuaiahutapu<\/span>.
\nHighness serene the Prince<\/span> Albert II of<\/span> Monaco<\/span> is particularly<\/span> invested in<\/span> the environmental cause<\/span>. In June 2006,<\/span> he decided to<\/span> create his<\/span> Foundation<\/span> to address the<\/span> concern<\/span> threats to<\/span> the environment of our<\/span>
\nplanet.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Cooperation Framework Agreement signed between the Polynesian te mana o te moana, the Oceanographic Institute \/ Foundation Prince Albert 1 of Monaco and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation is to define the conditions under which the three institutions wish to <\/span>work together to promote the importance of preserving the biodiversity and the marine ecosystems, including sea turtles, marine mammals and coral reefs in French Polynesia.
\n<\/span>\"CI4A0847\"<\/a>As part of that, the parties have agreed to collaborate to produce actions and events for :
\n<\/span>– The actors and makers of the oceans : companies, policy makers, scientific community, civil society;
\n<\/span>– The opinion leaders and the general public;
\n<\/span>– Young people and families.
\n<\/span>The theme of the “sea turtles” chosen by the Oceanographic Institute for the years 2015 and 2016 was selected for a first series of actions in partnership and supported by Polynesia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
