\"\"Many of you are asking for news from Okely, the green sea turtle welcomed to the Care center* last month following a speargun injury to the head. Thank you for your kind attention.<\/p>\n

After regular sessions in the resting pool, Okely is able to swim but is not able to float properly: its buoyancy is impaired. It turns unwittingly on the carapace and needs help to turn around. Okely can thus not be left alone in the water without close supervision.<\/p>\n

Okely also needs help with feeding and hydration. It is fed a mixture of fishes, squids, vitamins and water.<\/p>\n

We are doing everything in our power for its recovery, but a positive outcome is not guaranteed…<\/p>\n
