Three emerging Tetiaroa sea turtles joined the Sea turtle care center on January 20, 2020.<\/p>\n
Found trapped in the nest under pieces of coral very weak, dehydrated and with injuries, they were immediately taken care of by our teams.<\/p>\n
“Uo”, which means white in Tahitian, is easily recognizable by its significant depigmentation. “Atera” and “Oro” are similar but Atera can be recognized by a small white spot located on the carapace.<\/p>\n

After a few days of rest, their health has improved and they now manage to grab their food alone, swim and breathe normally.<\/p>\n
