\"\"At the beginning of the week, we welcomed a new turtle to the Sea turtle care center. Named RAHERA by Pupu, the fisherman who rescued her, this hawksbill turtle weighs only 3.2 kg for 37 cm. This is the second smallest hawksbill turtle received at the Care center since the association was created!<\/p>\n

Found weakened and very emaciated in Opunohu Bay at the mouth of the river, covered in algae and mud, Rahera has her right front fin amputated.<\/p>\n

The wound is perfectly healed and her state of severe weakness does not seem to come from this area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Rahera has currently been put on rest and treatment has started.<\/p>\n
