\n\t<\/h3>\nAn educational and committed initiative in the heart of Faa’a<\/strong><\/h3>\n <\/strong><\/h3>\nIn December 2024<\/strong>, an environmental awareness day<\/strong> was organized at Tahua Motu Ovini Park<\/strong> in Faa’a, for students from neighborhoods across the municipality. The goal: to reconnect young people with the lagoon<\/strong> that surrounds their daily lives, and to teach them the right actions to help preserve it.<\/p>\n <\/h3>\nThe Connection Between Neighborhood and Lagoon at the Heart of the Workshops<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n
Through fun and educational workshops<\/strong>, the young people were able to discover:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
\n- The richness of the marine and terrestrial biodiversity<\/strong> of our fenua.<\/li>\n
- The impact of our daily actions<\/strong> on the environment.<\/li>\n
- Simple eco-friendly<\/strong> habits to adopt to protect our island, from our neighborhoods to the lagoon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
<\/p>\n
A big mauruuru<\/strong> to the students of Vaiaha<\/strong> and Farahei Nui<\/strong> elementary schools and Henri Hiro<\/strong> middle school for their active and curious participation!<\/p>\nThanks to the committed partners<\/strong><\/h3>\n <\/strong><\/h3>\nThis day would not have been possible without the involvement of our partners:<\/p>\n
