\n\tIt was with great emotion that we witnessed the release of Kwata, Heimiti, and Melyva’i<\/strong>, three young green turtles<\/strong> treated at our care center, authorized<\/strong> by the Directorate of the Environment of French Polynesia<\/strong>, after being found injured on the atoll of Tetiaroa<\/strong>. These turtles were able to regain their freedom thanks<\/strong> to the commitment of an entire engaged community.\nTurtles saved after a challenging start to life<\/strong><\/h2>\nThese three young turtles were found trapped in their nest<\/strong>, weakened and injured, during the last nesting season<\/strong> on Tetiaroa. After their transfer to the Te mana o te moana care center<\/strong>, our teams took care of them with patience and expertise.\n\t\t\t\t![\"Capture](\"https:\/\/www.temanaotemoana.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2025-04-23-a\u0300-14.16.24.png\" "\\"Capture")

\n\tKwata<\/h3>\nArriving in December 2023<\/strong>, she was unusually small in size<\/strong>, had lesions on her neck and fins<\/strong>, and suffered from significant growth problems<\/strong>.\nHeimiti<\/h3>\nReceived in March 2024<\/strong>, she had numerous injuries<\/strong> on her fins, neck, and nostrils, as well as a slightly deformed shell<\/strong>.\nMelyva’i<\/h3>\nAlso admitted in March 2024<\/strong>, she was affected on the first vertebral scute<\/strong>, her nostrils<\/strong>, and showed stiffness in the rear fins<\/strong>.\nThanks to the care provided by our veterinary team and volunteers, they have regained their strength<\/strong> and are now ready to face the ocean.\n<\/h2>\n\tAn exceptional release, captured in images<\/strong><\/h2>\nThis release took place in the presence of:\n\n- In the presence of our committed partners<\/strong>: Tahiti Ocean Explorer<\/strong>, the Directorate of the Environment<\/strong>, and many others,
