This morning, May 12, 2011, the attention of te mana o te moana’s team was focused on two special visitors : Richard Didier, the Haut-Commissaire in French Polynesia, and Eric Berthon, Administrator of the Australes archipelago, who visited the Sea Turtles Clinic.<\/h5>\n

To begin with, C\u00e9cile Gaspar<\/strong>, te mana o te moana’s President, gave a detailed presentation<\/strong> of te mana o te moana’s activities and missions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Vie Jourdan<\/strong>, Education officer, then presented all the educational programs<\/a>, the various educational tools<\/a> used for awareness raising activities, and also the new fare (room)<\/a> where classes and children groups are hosted during the programs.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Finally, Matthieu Petit<\/strong>, Biologist, took the visitors for a visit of the Sea Turtles’ Cinic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The second part of the visit took place on the lagoon, where every body accompanied one of the sea turtes for its release in the wild. The Haut-Commissaire himself released the turtle<\/strong> back in the ocean.<\/p>\n
