\"DSC_0084\"<\/a>The World Ocean day was celebrated in the company of the 2 winner classes of the huge contest on the necessity to manag<\/span>e <\/span><\/span>the Marine Areas Plan of Moorea<\/strong><\/span> and respect the <\/span>emblematic marine species such as sea turtles and marine Mammals, <\/strong>and in the company of<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Mehiata Riria, communication officer of the Polyn\u00e9sienne des Eaux <\/a>entity.<\/p>\n

Goals of the project held during the all school year 2013-2014 are to aim at a better understanding of our PGEM of Moorea<\/strong> (Management Plan for the Marine Areas), the rules applied, and to give a better knowledge of the marine fauna and flora. This project is conducted with the 7 elementary schools of Moorea (children from 9 to 11 years old).\"WEB<\/a><\/p>\n

As part of our missions in education,\u00a0TE ME UM (Terres et Mers Ultras-Marines)<\/a> program helps to conduce this project.Vie and Magali have conducted numerous animation sessions with classes (visit of an underwater trail, intercative and pedagogic activities onsite..) to get a better knowledge and so to better preserve the marine environment. In souvenir, every school children has got a booklet \u00ab\u00a0Tohor\u00e4, baleine \u00e0 bosse qui es-tu\u00a0?\u00a0<\/em><\/a>\u00bb.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the World Ocean Day, the two classes which winned the contest have joined us to enjoy a special moment with a dolphin from Moorea Dolphin Center<\/strong><\/a>; playing activities with the City hall of Moorea Maiao<\/strong><\/a> and the foundation PGEM<\/strong>, and getting their gifts rewarding their hard work and enjoying a snack offered by the h\u00f4tel InterContinental Resort and Spa Moorea.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

A huge congratulations to the :<\/strong><\/p>\n

– classe of CM2 of Mr Gabriel Lovato<\/strong> <\/span>from Haapiti Elementay school who winned the First Prize<\/strong><\/span> and,<\/span><\/p>\n

– the classe of CE1-CE2 from Mrs Aliz\u00e9e Hauariki<\/span> who winned the second prize.<\/p>\n
