“Ariti”, the French Polynesian subadult loggerhead turtle released on May 24th is providing her last positions, 73 days after the release. She seems to be heading for the Fiji Islands.
Remember that this is the first loggerhead turtle ever to be satellite tracked from French Polynesia. A huge walk for the better knowledge of the species of French Polynesia and their migration.
Those information have been made possible thanks to the NOAA Agency and in partnership with the French Polynesia Direction of the Environment.
