In this beginning of 2017, educational activities go on.
On the 13th of January, our animator Magali went to Pao pao highschool to present the education project called « Mata ora no Tetiaroa » to a class off 6th grade students. This educational and awareness program for polynesian children and youth is one of the four projects that have been initiated on this new scolar year. The project’s aims to give a better understanding of the terrestrial and marine environment of Tetiaroa’s atoll, in order to better manage the natural ressources through new energy management techniques, as part of sustainable development.
Through this project, students learn Tetiaroa’s atoll biodiversity, in order to better understand the necessity 
to preserve marine ressources of our islands.
The objective for students is then to study a theme of their choice to develop a creation, which will be presented at the end of the year during a meeting day at the town of Arue.
15 classes are already participating to the project ! The class that will create the best creation will go on a full day of discovery on the atoll of Tetiaroa !
