On Saturday 24th 2014, the Sea turtle Clinic welcomed a new boarder from Tahiti. This hawskbill turtle weights 66 lbs ( 30kg) and measures 27 inches (68 cm) and was wounded at the neck and on the the top of the head.
Called Miti (“sea” in tahitian language), she was saved thanks to a board member of the foundation “Fenua Animalia” and a veterinarian of Tahiti which provided her the first cares before her coming to the Sea turtle Clinic of Moorea.
