Using infrared cameras installed above the nests on Tetiaroa atoll, our teams were able to film the behavior of the rats. The video below demonstrates once again that rats are able to sense the presence of the nest even before the eggs hatch and that these ferocious predators grab the weakest emerging as soon as they leave the nest.
