On the 4th of October, Tara left Moorea and set sail from Tahiti, to moore in Papeete.
For this occasion, our team composed of Alice, Sylvie and Céline animated a booth on the morning and assisted to a tahitian welcming ceremony which included traditional costumes, songs and danses.
On Wednesday morning, out volunteer Sylvie went on site to support Tara’s team with the management of scholars invited to discover Tara. She animated a workshop for 4 classes, with interactive games developped by our organisation on themes such as coral reefs, cetaceans and sea turtles.
On Thursday, Vie and Alice took over and joined Tara’s team to welcome 6 classes and teach them about the importance of conserving our oceans and its ressources.
On Friday, our volunteer Vanessa took over and sensitized 4 other classes.
