We are very pleased to inform you of Te mana o te moana’s collaboration with the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco in the context of its new Turtle Space and « The Turtle Odyssey », a temporary exhibition that opened on April 27th.
The material presented on the Care center as well as the presentations and learning paths offered to families on sea turtles highlight the work of our association and “creates in many visitors a desire to quickly change behaviors and consumption habits to achieve a lesser impact on these animals and on nature in general” says Didier Théron, Head of the Animations and Education Department at the Oceanographic Institute.
The goal of the Oceanographic Museum is to educate the general public on the protection of the ocean, its fauna and flora.
The Oceanographic Museum and Institute are part of the Albert I Foundation, Prince of Monaco, which objective is to raise awareness on the richness and fragility of the oceans and promote sustainable management and a reasoned and effective protection of the latter.
Many thanks to the Oceanographic Institute for its trust and commitment to protecting our oceans.
