Welcomed to the Sea turtle care center in August 2019, Temeio (“miracle” in Tahitian), a sub-adult green turtle found in Moorea lagoon speared to the head with a harpoon gun, was released! Long affected in its vision to the right eye with no eye reflex, Temeio has recovered all its faculties including its vision. In good health, Temeio was able to return to the ocean for new adventuress.
