In mid-September, our founder Dr. Cรฉcile Gaspar had the opportunity to travel to Los Angeles, thanks to a ๐๐บ๐๐๐๐พ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ Air Tahiti Nui.
Thanks to this trip, we met our collaborators and partners who have been supporting Te mana o te moana’s ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ปย ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐, particularly the ๐บ๐ผ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ดย ๐ผ๐ณย ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ปย ๐๐๐ฟ๐๐น๐ฒย ๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ย ๐ผ๐ปย ๐ง๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฎย ๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐น๐นย since 2007.
Rebecca Brando and the Tetiaroa Society organized a special evening for the occasion.
In 2022, Rebecca Brando became the “Godmother” of the scientific studies and monitoring of sea turtles on the atoll her father bought in 1966.
As such, she came to take part in our monitoring activities last February and communicates widely to her network and internationally on the objectives of our studies.
