Organized on November 23h 2015 at the head office of the Presidential residence in Papeete, by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Environment, in partnership with the Economic, Social and Cultural Council (CESC), the Tahiti Business School (ECT) and the Federation of the Associations for the Protection of the environment (FAPE) to students from French Polynesia.
This conference aims to contribute to the message conveyed by the President of French Polynesia Mr Edouard Fritch during the COP21 which will be held in Paris from November 30th to the 11th of December. Over 250 students from public and private high schools, joined the Assizes, with the aim of mobilizing French Polynesian students on the COP21 and bringing them to reflect on the critical issue of climate issues in relation to the future of French Polynesia, and to concretely formulate proposals to make their voices heard at the COP21 where 40 of the Youth will be for the COY. We participated to this event in running a stand of all the educational supports (booklets, posters, games…) that could inspire the youth before the opening of the COP21 in Paris.
