As part of the active participation of Te mana o te moana in the Universal National Services (SNU) program with the participation of 2 volunteers in the association’s mission, we had the pleasure of receiving the visit of a group of young SNUs supervised by the Gendarmerie in order to collaborate on a project to prevent environmental damages in French Polynesia, partly led by the OCLAESP detachment.
The volunteers chose to create an education video on sea turtles. During their visit, the group had the opportunity to:
- Discover the Sea turtle rehabilitation center
- Understand what an association is
- Acquire knowledge of the regulations relating to sea turtles in French Polynesia
We would like to thank them for their initiative in favor of the environment and will not fail to share with you the awareness video created by these young people involved in this general interest mission
