Maud Fontenoy took advantage of her quick stay in French Polynesia to encounter all the team of Te mana o te moana’s with whom her foundation has realized a special “Primary Schools pack“. The official launching will be on October 9th in France but the first exchange with the children of Moorea was celebrated on September 20th into a school of Papetoai, Moorea. This special Elermentary school pack proposes 10 cards explaining why we must conserve water, whether fresh or salt.
After this time into school, Maud Fontenoy has joined the Sea Turtle Clinic to prepare and release a green sea turtle named Pahianui in tahitian and called Mahé for the event. This green turtle was found in february, nearly dead because of a spire gun. After a few months of care at the clinic, she’s now joining the ocean…
Te mana o te moana will provide other specific educational programs for the conservation of the water, whether fresh or salt, thanks to the support of the Brasserie Tahiti.
