Te mana o te moana was honored to take part in the ๐ ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ ๐ฉ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฏ to raise awareness among the participants and Makateaโs elementary school students.
On the schedule, a booth and awareness workshops included activities on:
– Environmental protection
– Sea turtles
– Cetaceans
– The life cycle of coconut crabs (kaveu)
The school children on the island were thus able to benefit from 2 half-days of educational programs to their delight and that of our educators.
