On Thursday 12 September, Cécile Gaspar, our Executive Director and Veterinarian traveled to Tetiaroa atoll to present the 15 years of actions of Te mana o te moana to the Delegations of Presidents of Parliaments of the South Pacific Island Countries. in the presence of Gaston Tong Sang, President of the Territorial Assembly of French Polynesia.
The actions of the Care center as well as the scientific monitoring of green turtle nesting sites in Tetiaroa carried out with the support of the Direction of the Environment of French Polynesia were discussed. A unique opportunity to exchange on similar actions performed on other Pacific Islands.
