On February 16th, 2004 after a call received from the Direction of the Environment of French Polynesia, the little turtle Moana arrived sick by plane transfer from Bora Bora.
A few months later the founder of the association, Dr Cécile Gaspar, welcomed her in the lagoon of the Moorea Intercontinental hotel, without any structure ready yet. Under observation all day long, 2 little budding technicians, Arthur and Kalanie, were there to watch over her by her side.
“The start of a wonderful adventure that I never imagined would be so enriching and exciting, and which would shape my future career choices. 20 years of actions, passions, discoveries, exchanges, learning, travels and, above all, beautiful encounters” shares Dr Cécile Gaspar.
Mauururu to all for your support: volunteers, donors, partners. Without you this adventure would not have been possible
