The Educational Division: Raising Awareness to Preserve

Since its creation in 2004, the association Te mana o te moana has been working to protect the Polynesian marine environment, with a particular focus on sea turtles. Convinced that education is a key driver for preserving ecosystems, the association has developed a dynamic and innovative educational division.
This division designs and implements educational programs tailored to school and extracurricular audiences, covering a wide range of topics such as sea turtles, coral reefs, marine mammals, and waste management. Using fun and interactive tools (board games, manuals, posters), it aims to spark curiosity in young people and actively engage them in protecting their environment.
By collaborating with schools, leisure centers, and local institutions, Te mana o te moana’s educational division helps shape a new generation that is aware of environmental challenges and ready to take action for a sustainable future.
