In December 2024, an environmental awareness day was organized at Tahua Motu Ovini Park in Faa'a, for students from neighborhoods across the municipality. The goal: to reconnect young people with the lagoon that surrounds their daily lives, and to teach them the right actions to help preserve it.
Through fun and educational workshops, the young people were able to discover:
A big mauruuru to the students of Vaiaha and Farahei Nui elementary schools and Henri Hiro middle school for their active and curious participation!
This day would not have been possible without the involvement of our partners:
Océanie, Forêts polynésiennes de l'AOA, FACE Polynésie, Odewa.
Thank you for your presence, your shared knowledge, and your commitment to the environment
Two reports highlight this wonderful day:
This awareness project was funded by the City of Faa'a and the Urban Contract of the Papeete agglomeration, reflecting a shared commitment to protecting our environment and educating the citizens of tomorrow.
