Today we’d like to introduce you to our 10 juvenile turtles.
They were born on 𝑻𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒂 𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒍 and collected between January and February 2023.
These juveniles were stuck in their nest due to roots and corals and had difficulties, preventing their immediate release, such as:
- Locomotor problems
- Friction injuries
- Vitellus not resorbed
In addition, 2 larger juveniles were isolated in a separate nursery to avoid conflict with other juveniles.
Now in perfect health, they are adapting to their new nursery before being released!
