Te mana o te moana was honored to take part in the 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗮 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 to raise awareness among the participants and Makatea’s elementary school students.
On the schedule, a booth and awareness workshops included activities on:
– Environmental protection
– Sea turtles
– Cetaceans
– The life cycle of coconut crabs (kaveu)
The school children on the island were thus able to benefit from 2 half-days of educational programs to their delight and that of our educators.
