A little bit of sweetness in these difficult times. Here is Ele, a Tetiaroa green turtle unblocked from the nest, very weak and unable to swim. In the past 4 years, more than 1,500 baby turtles have been freed from the nest and released into the ocean by Te mana o te moana teams.

A new sea turtle from Tahiti transferred by the Direction of the Environment of French Polynesia was welcomed today to the Sea turtle care center. With significant injuries, she is being assessed by Sylvain: Partners Direction de l’Environnement Polynésie Française, Pacific Beachcomber, InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa, Vilebrequin, Air Tahiti Nui, Moorea Dolphin Centre, Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco, IFBD & Aéro-Design.
